Bill Fitzgerald

Mr. Fitzgerald is a native of Orange, Texas, as well as a graduate of the University of Texas School of Business, 1959, and University of Texas School of Law in 1962. He was admitted to practice in the State of Texas in 1962 and has since been admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals Fifth Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.

After working for the Federal Government as a field attorney for the National Labor Relations Board, Mr. Fitzgerald served as an Assistant District Attorney for Travis County, Texas. Since 1966, he has engaged in the private practice of law in the central Texas area with emphasis on family law matters and criminal defense. He has actively litigated in both bench and jury trials for over 35 years. Mr. Fitzgerald has been long affiliated with the Travis County Bar Association for which he served as a Director and is a member of the sections on criminal and family law. Additional bar affiliations are the American Bar and the Federal Bar, as well as the State Bar of Texas.
